Making Plans

Plans. We all have them. Good ones too. Some have more than a few. Some may have too many. Regardless, most all of them share a common bond with each other, and that is, that they are where action meets an idea to complete a goal. My parents, thankfully, had a plan to have children. They made a plan to build a family. They had no idea that they would have two boys so late, but the idea eventually came into fruition.

Webster defines it this way: “A method for achieving an end.” Now, don’t let the word “end” scare you. It merely means an accomplishment.

I see plans as little goals. We need them. They can be healthy for us as we reach a larger purpose. I wondered when the first plan came about. Was it in the story of Noah? Was it just after the fall of man as he and his bride were evicted from the garden? He sure needed one.

Perhaps, it was before the fall. Even before creation itself. So, the question is what GOD’s plan was?

Another question would surely follow, such as; Why are we here? Anyone who asks the question of why one is here addresses a huge issue. Perhaps, one of the biggest of all subjects. It’s a persistent question of validation. Maybe it is best worded this way; It is a question of validated purpose. So, why did GOD create us or the world even? As usual, we can go to the scriptures to find the answers.

In Gen. 1 we see how GOD created man…. in His image. Isaiah 6 explains to us why we were made. “And one (angel) cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” We were created to glorify God. Now glory comes from GOD himself. He emits it. Now get this… we were created in the image of God, to edify Him with a beauty that comes from Him, to begin with.

If we are an image, then we are a reflection with a purpose to give Him the glory that which He gave to us and belongs to him in the first place. So, when we hear that we need to give GOD glory and praise, that’s literally what we were made to do. To give back to Him what is already His.

Isn’t that beautiful? We are designed to give back what He has already given us. Not just us though, but the heavens (both our sky and space) as well. “The heavens declare the glory of God.” Psalm 19. Now being separated from GOD through sin causes us to lose our purpose and wander around lost. This makes Romans 3:23 speak a little louder and allows us to see a little more into the words. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.”

So, if you feel that you have lost your purpose, you haven’t, because you were created to what you do so naturally. You can NEVER lose your purpose. You can lose your way, but never your purpose. If you are not serving Jesus Christ and want to know how to fulfill your destiny and purpose and become a reflector of Him, you have come to the right place. We have a team that can show you how you were always in GOD’s plans from the very beginning.
