Be Still And Know That I Am God

Written by: Myra Crouch

Change can be both exciting and scary at the same time. Exciting because of a new adventure, scary because of not knowing what lies ahead. The Lord knows that I try to figure it all out,try to map out the next step. While he keeps speaking to my heart stand be still and wait.Quiet your heart.

A heart at rest knows it's secure despite the insecurities that lurk in our lives. The resting heart reveals its trust in God no matter what it’s feeling. The heart at rest knows that its circumstances don't define it, but that God is leading it through a season. “Be still and know that I am God,” says Psalm 46:10

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose trust is the LORD. “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

From the editor:

Myra is a literal living and breathing testimony. Throughout her life, God has repeatedly shown Himself strong. Even in the most difficult times, she has believed the report of the Lord. Take these words and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you. His miracle working power is still present in the church.
