For God So Loved the World

One of the most popular verses in all of the Bible demonstrates the love that God has for us when it says, "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16 NLT).

A father's love goes beyond that of a protector.

Memories of My Dad

Like many of you, I spent some time thinking about my father on Sunday. He was a good dad who loved my sisters and I. We learned so much from him throughout our early years. Although his passing was sudden, I felt like all of the memories and lessons he taught me came rushing back into my brain the morning my mother called me to tell me of his untimely death. Life is short, and not a day goes by that I do not wish we had more with him. However, I am thankful for the constant investments he made into my life and the legacy that I have to continue on.

Living to Honor the Legacy

The amazing love that we experienced, as children, helped to teach us about the love that our Heavenly Father has towards us. Even in my father's absence, I know that God is working for my good and has continually orchestrated everything according to His plan. As one of His children, I am honored to continue to spread His message while taking every opportunity to honor the men who have left big shoes to feel. Our prayer is that God would encourage you in whatever circumstance you find yourself in. Don't forget that we were the object of God's love before we even knew it. He showed us the most valuable expression of His love by giving us the gift of His Son. As recipients of this gift, we can build our lives on the truth of His Word as His intentions for us are that we would not perish, but have eternal life. Surely, His love for us will span the duration of eternity.
